Man charged over Coventry murder

West Midlands Police have charged a man with murder after a woman died at a property in Coventry.

Astra Sirapina was found injured at an address on Burnaby Road on Tuesday (10 Dec).

Sadly, the 62-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene. .

Arturs Putrasevics, aged 39, of no fixed address, is due to appear before Coventry Magistrates Court today charged with murder and possession of a bladed article in a public place.
