A man has been charged following an investigation into multiple robberies in Coventry.
Kevin Byrne, aged 42, of Coventry, has been charged with three counts of robbery, attempt robbery, criminal damage, and assault of an emergency worker.
It follows an investigation by officers into reports of robberies last month outside cashpoints on Trinity Street, and Broadgate.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: "Kevin Byrne, aged 42, of Coventry, has been charged with three counts of robbery, attempt robbery, criminal damage, and assault of an emergency worker.
"It follows an investigation by Coventry’s neighbourhood crime team into reports of robberies on 21, 28 and 29 November outside cashpoints on Trinity Street, and Broadgate.
"An attempt robbery on Trinity Street, on 29 November, a report of criminal damage and an assault on a police officer on 29 November."
Byrne has been remanded in custody to next appear at Warwick Crown Court on 5 January.
