Man arrested on suspicion of murder after body found at Nuneaton house

A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a body was found at a house in Nuneaton.

At 8.19am, officers were called to Birmingham Road in Ansley following a report a woman in her late 30s had died under suspicious circumstances.

The 39-year-old man remains in police custody and officers from Warwickshire Police say there is no wider risk to the public.

Next of kin have been informed and are being supported by a specially trained family liaison officer.

Police say their investigation is in the early stages and enquiries are ongoing.
