Man arrested following string of burglaries in Stratford

A man's been arrested in Stratford-upon-Avon, following a series of burglaries and attempted burglaries in the Bishopton area.

A number of incidents were reported to Warwickshire Police early this morning (Wednesday 21st May).

Vehicles and residential properties were targeted between 1.00 and 4.00am today.

Stratford Safer Neighbourhood Team Inspector Naomi Bird said: “We're grateful for the prompt response and support from the community. Officers remain in the area carrying out enquiries – please do come and speak to one of them if you have specific concerns."

There's an appeal for residents to check their home CCTV, doorbell cameras or dash cam for any footage that could help with enquiries.
