Major makeover underway at Bedworth Indoor Market
The works are expected to finish by the end of March 2026
A major makeover of Bedworth Indoor Market is getting underway.
The refurbishment will bring new lighting, electrics, and a deep clean inside, plus a fresh look outside with new cladding, shutters and a repainted frontage.
The works are expected to finish by the end of March 2026, but the market will stay open throughout so traders can keep serving shoppers.
Construction partner Stepnell, who will be carrying out the refurbishment, have met with traders to brief them of the upcoming works and copies of plans can be found inside the market.
Cllr Nicky King, Portfolio Holder for Business and Regeneration, said: “I am delighted to see this much-awaited refurbishment begin; the work will provide a complete market makeover that will benefit both traders and visitors.
“It is a huge benefit that this work will continue without the market having to close, but we need support from the public to continue to use the market during this time to support our traders and ensure that Bedworth market continues to go from strength to strength.”
