Human remains found in Warwickshire severe barn fire

Human remains have been found in Warwickshire after a severe barn fire last night (19 November).

Emergency Services were called to reports of the fire in Wood End in Atherstone at around 8pm.

The fire was said to be under control by 10pm.

There are believed to be human remains in the barn which have not been confirmed or identified as of this morning (20 November).

Warwickshire Police said they discovered remains after firefighters had controlled the blaze.

The cause of the fire is not being treated as suspicious at this time.

Officers are asking for anyone with information to get in touch with them.
