Human remains found in search for missing Coventry man
Officers say they made the discovery over the weekend.
Human remains have been found in Coventry, in search of a missing man.
Stefan Watkins, also known as Lee or Lee Lee, was last seen on the 7th May 2023 at the junction of Vauxhall Street and Berry Street in Hillfields.
It was on Friday when Warwickshire Police started up searches again in an area of the city.
They've now confirmed that human remains were discovered in Charterhouse Fields on Saturday.
The remains have been forensically recovered and will be subject to a post-mortem in due course.
Formal identification has yet to take place, however Stefan’s next of kin and family have been updated with this latest development.
