Clark ran away from officers and threw what was found to be 105 wraps of heroin and crack cocaine in the River Leam. Once arrested, he was found to have cocaine, heroin and cash on him.

A Warwickshire police spokesperson said: "Clack, of Allesley Hall Drive, Coventry, was charged with possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of class A – cocaine and possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of class A – heroin.

"In addition, he was made to pay a victim surcharge of £228 and had more than £250 cash forfeited."
