Fire fighters tackle blaze at a house in Coventry
Two people were taken to hospital
Fire fighters are investigating the cause of a blaze at a house in Coventry last night.
Crews were called out at 10.02pm on Wednesday 17 September to Hawthorn Lane, Tile Hill.
We're told the first of seven crews arrived at the scene within five minutes of being mobilised.
The blaze involved the first floor and roof of a mid-terraced property.
A man and a woman suffering from the effects of smoke are understood to have been taken to hospital by ambulance.
The police also attended, plus a gas engineer and Red Cross volunteers.
