Wolverhampton Wanderers welcome Coventry City to Molineux today for their quarter-final clash in the FA Cup.
The hosts, who have won the competition a total of four times, are coming off the back of a 1-0 win against Brighton in the cup - and a win at home to Fulham in the Premier League.
The Sky Blues - currently chasing a play-off place in the Championship - beat non-league Maidstone United to make it to this stage of the competition, with their most recent game a win away to Watford.
Mark Robins' side could make history as only the second team to win a quarter-final tie in the FA Cup. The last time it was done, was in 1987 when they lifted the trophy after beating Tottenham Hotspur.
Some insights into today's game
Wolves are unbeaten in their last five home games against Coventry in all competitions, winning three and drawing two. This is the first meeting between the two teams since 2013 when both teams were in League One.
This is the first FA Cup meeting between the Midlands teams since the 1983-84 third round. The Sky Blues beat Wolves 3-0 in a second replay.
Wolves have progressed from two of their last three FA Cup quarter-final ties, most recently a 2-1 win over Manchester United in 2018-19.
This is Coventry's first appearance at this stage in the competition since 2008-09, where they lost to Chelsea.
Wolves have lost their last five FA Cup ties against sides from a lower division. They were last eliminated by a team lower than them in the football pyramid in 2021-13, when they lost to non-league Luton Town.
