Critical incident declared at South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust
They say they're currently coping with "growing pressures".
A critical incident has been declared by South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust.
It's as in a statement the trust says "Warwick Hospitalās Emergency Department have been consistently some of the highest" number of patients "ever experienced".
As a result it means they are "unable to maintain the waiting times".
Additional steps are being put in place across the trust to maintain safe services for patients.
The advice is that people check what services they need before attending an emergency department and that if you are attending A&E to be prepared and minimise the number of people coming with you.
The trust said: "Our teams continue to work exceptionally hard; and we would like to reassure our patients and the public that despite the current challenges we will continue to provide high standards of care to those that need us."
