A man from Coventry has been charged with a number of offences following a burglary in the city.

Ian Giles, of no fixed address, was charged with burglary, theft of a motor vehicle and blackmail and is due in court today (4 November).

The 50-year-old was arrested yesterday by officers investigating the burglary, which happened in Canley in October.
