Child left seriously injured after collision in Warwick

Warwickshire Police are asking for anyone who witnessed a collision which saw a child injured in Warwick on Friday afternoon to get in touch with them.
At around 4.10pm, the driver of a VW Golf reportedly struck a 7-year-old, leaving them with serious injuries.
The collision happened on a pedestrian crossing on Emscote Road, close to the junction of Broad Street.
The driver of the Golf stopped at the scene and is helping with enquiries.
