Bull on the loose near Coventry shot dead

The public were being urged to beware of the danger.

A bull on the loose near Coventry, that was causing a "danger to the public" has been shot dead.

It was spotted near Rugby Road and was heading into Brinklow.

Warwickshire Police were advising the public to avoid the area, whilst they bring the situation under control.

After discussions with a local vet, the force said they didn't have any other choice but to kill the animal.

In a statement they said the "decision was not taken lightly."
