Women dies after A392 crash near Newquay

A woman in her 80s has died after a crash near Newquay on Wednesday (November 26) morning.
Emergency Services were called at around 9:50am to reports of a collision involving a red Ford Fiesta and a yellow JCB tractor.
A local woman in her 80s was trapped following the collision and freed by firefighters using specialist equipment.
She was airlifted to Derriford hospital with serious injuries but passed away yesterday (November 27).
The road was closed but was reopened by 2.15pm on Wednesday (November 26) after collision investigators had examined the scene and the vehicle was recovered.
Officers are appealing for witnesses and anyone with relevant dash-cam footage to contact them.
