Woman arrested on suspicion of attempted murder in Wadebridge
A man's suffered a stab wound which isn't thought to be life-threatening
A woman's been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a man was stabbed in Wadebridge.
Police were called to Oak View Road by the ambulance service at around 10.25pm on Tuesday 10 September.
A man, aged in his 30s, who had sustained a stab wound was taken to hospital for treatment and his injuries are not being treated as life-threatening or changing.
A knife was located and seized at the scene.
A 31-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. She remains in police custody at this time.
Detective Inspector Pete Gee said: “Officers remain in the area this morning carrying out enquiries in relation to the matter.
“We would like to reassure the community that this is being treated as an isolated incident and we believed those involved are known to each other. At this time, we are not seeking to speak to anyone else in relation to this.”
