Police appeal after possible homophobic attack in Penzance

Police are appealing after what's thought to be a homophobic assault in Penzance.

It happened around 3pm on the second of October in Morrab gardens, when a man was assaulted and taken to hospital for facial injuries.

It's thought that the suspect made homophobic threats towards the victim.

The victim was taken to hospital where he was treated for injuries to his face.

It is believed members of the public may have assisted the victim following the incident.

Anyone with information, or that witnessed the assault, is asked to get in touch.
