Police are appealing for information after 34 surf boards have been stolen from a beach near Bude.

An box trailer containing the boards, which are worth a combined 15 thousand pounds, was stolen from the Widemouth Beach car park.

It is believed to have happened between 4.30pm on Friday 6 December and 11am on Saturday 7 December.

Investigating officers are appealing for anyone with any relevant CCTV or doorbell footage, or anybody who noticed any suspicious behaviour in the area around the time of the theft, to get in touch with them.

Devon and Cornwall Police are also asking to hear from anyone who may have bought a trailer or surfboard similar to in the attached photograph in recent days.
