Pair of dead fox cubs found hanging from A30 road sign

Police have since removed the animals

A pair of dead fox cubs have been found at the side of the A30 in Cornwall - hanging from a road sign.

The animals were spotted on Tuesday morning (29th April) just after 7.00am close to the Jamaica Inn at Launceston, with police called by passing motorists.

The foxes were taken away by an officer.

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said:

"We were notified at around 7.10am on Tuesday 29th April following a report of two dead fox cubs hanging from the road sign near to the Jamaica Inn on the A30.

"An officer attended the scene. The foxes have since been removed."
