Motorbike rider in serious condition after crash on A30

Investigations are underway after a "very serious crash" on a major road in Cornwall.
The A30 was shut westbound between Summercourt and Mitchell last night (10 April) - but the carriageway has since reopened.
An appeal for witnesses has now been launched - after a man in his 60s was rushed to hospital.
In a statement, Devon and Cornwall Police said: "We are appealing for witnesses and information following a serious road traffic collision on the A30 westbound at Mitchell.
"Emergency services were called at around 7.10pm on Thursday 10 April to a report of a collision involving a Honda motorcycle and a white Ford Transit Connect on the A30 at Mitchell.
"A local man in his 60s, who was the rider of the motorcycle, has received serious injuries as a result of the collision.
"The road was closed while emergency services dealt with the scene and an investigation was commenced.
"Officers from the Roads Policing Team would like to thank the public for their patience whilst the road was closed.
