88 year old man dies following Coverack crash
A man in his 60s has also been arrested
A 88 year old man has died in hospital, a day after a crash near Coverack.
He was driving a tractor, which was involved in a collision with a Kawasaki motorbike at Trevothen at around 4.25pm on Wednesday (2nd April).
He was airlifted to Derriford Hospital in a life-threatening condition, but passed away yesterday (Thursday 3rd April), with his next of kin informed.
A second man was taken to Treliske Hospital with minor injuries, and later discharged.
Arrest made
A man in 60s was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by careless driving, having no insurance and drug driving.
He's been bailed pending further enquiries.
