Fire breaks out at industrial unit in Devoran overnight

Firefighters have been tackling a blaze at an industrial unit in Devoran overnight.

Teams from Falmouth, Truro, Tolvaddon, Helston and Perranporth were called to the scene at around 11.45pm last night (30 May).

At the time, Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service were urging residents to keep their doors and windows closed due to large plumes of smoke.

In a later update, they said: "The industrial fire incident at Devoran has now ceased and all appliance's have returned.

"Fire Investigation will take place during daylight hours today. This is all the information we currently have."
