Emergency rescue at Porthtowan beach

A casualty was pulled from the water

St Agnes Coastguard has been tasked to Porthtowan beach to assist the RNLI lifeguards with a casualty who had been pulled from the water.

South West Ambulance Service were also on scene as well as Cornwall's Air Ambulance.

The team set up a helicopter landing site and assisted with the transfer.

It's thanking all agencies involved and the public for keeping at a safe distance to the scene.
