Cyclist seriously injured in crash near St Buryan

Investigating officers are appealing for information and dashcam footage

Police are seeking witnesses following a crash in Cornwall, which left a cyclist seriously injured.

Emergency services were called to Treen, on the B3315 near St Buryan, at around 1.40pm on Sunday (27 October), to reports of a collision involving a camper van and a cyclist.

The cyclist, a man in his 50s from Penzance, suffered serious injuries and was flown to Derriford hospital by Air Ambulance.

The road was closed for five hours to allow officers to carry out investigations.

Officers investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision are asking anyone who may have dashcam footage or information that could assist investigations to contact them online or by calling 101, quoting log 480 of 27/10/24.
