Could new ferry service launch be delayed?
Some customers have reported that bookings aren't being taken until the 30th of July
It's reported the launch of a new ferry service between Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly may be delayed.
Scilly Ferries was due to start operating from Monday, with the new vessel Atlantic Wolff arriving in Newlyn Harbour this week.
But some customers have reported receiving e-mail from the company saying circumstances have forced them to delay operations to Tuesday 30th of July.
That's also the first day online bookings are available.
We've approached Scilly Ferries for a response.
Atlantic Wolff, which was named in a competition by students from Five Islands Academy, is a high-speed catamaran with just over 400 seats over two decks.
It comes as parent company Harland and Wolff revealed its application for a multi million pound loan guarantee from the Government had been rejected.
It also announced chief executive John Wood was taking a leave of absence with immediate effect.
It's understood officials from the Department for Business and Trade have been in close contact with the company and its lenders and are confident a solution will be found to remove the immediate risk of administration.
