Falmouth woman suffers serious injuries after A393 collision

A collision had occurred involving two vehicles, a silver Toyota and a blue Hyundai

A woman is being treated for serious injures after a serious road traffic collision.

Police were called to the A393 between Lanner and Ponsanooth, Cornwall soon after 2pm on Saturday (7 June).

They were responding to reports that a collision had occurred involving two vehicles, a silver Toyota and a blue Hyundai.

The driver of one of the vehicles, a woman from the Falmouth area was taken to the Royal Cornwall Hospital Treliske where she was treated for serious injuries and remains in hospital.

Three other people sustained minor injuries.

The road was closed while an investigation was carried out at the scene.
