A30 weekend closures as opening of new dual carriageway draws closer
The closures are focused on surfacing and infrastructure work

Drivers are being urged to plan their journeys ahead of weekend closures on the A30 in Cornwall.
As part of National Highways' A30 Chiverton to Carland Cross road upgrade, the road will be shut between Chiverton and Summercourt from 8.00pm tonight (Friday 14 June) to 6.00am on Monday (17 June).
These closures are now focused on surfacing and infrastructure work along the route as the company prepares to open the new dual carriageway.
Further planned closures include:
- 17 to 20 June - overnight closures between Chiverton and Summercourt from 8.00pm to 6.00am
- 21 to 24 June - full weekend closure between Chiverton and Summercourt
