A30 reopens after emergency services close road at Scorrier

Emergency services were called out to an incident earlier this morning on the A30 - which has now fully reopened after a closure in both directions at Scorrier.

In a statement, Devon and Cornwall Police said: "Police were called at 7.25am today, 3 April, following concern for the welfare of a woman on an A30 overbridge at Scorrier.

"The woman was on the wrong side of the railings.

"Ambulance attended.

"The woman was brought back to safety by paramedics with the help of a member of the public around 7.50am. She is currently being checked by ambulance.

"The A30 was closed in both directions and fully reopened around 7.50am."
