Kernow Darts in St Austell, Cornwall are well underway in their 24-hour charity dart marathon - raising vital funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.

It all got going today at 6am (28/01) and is finishing at 6am tomorrow.

Organisers are urging people to visit the venue, located at 2 Vicarage Place, to take part or donate.

Volunteers, staff, and customers will ensure all four dartboards are in constant use throughout the day and night.

As part of the marathon, players Mark Mcgall and Woody Ellis will compete in a non-stop 12-hour match on Board 1, starting at 6pm.

They aim to set new records for the most darts thrown and the highest points scored in a single-board session within that timeframe.

People are welcome to collect funds for the cause and deposit them in the venue’s donation bin or scan the event's QR code to donate directly.

Organisers say they need as many players as possible to keep the oches active during the marathon and are hoping the community will come together to support the fundraising challenge.
