"48 hours of freedom" On-Air terms and conditions

These Competition terms and conditions should be read together with, and are in addition to, Bauer Radio Limited’s standard terms and conditions at: http://www.bauerlegal.co.uk/radio-competition-terms.html (the “General Terms”). Together these specific competition terms and conditions and the General Terms shall be referred to as the “Terms”. Where there is a conflict between these terms and the General Terms, these terms shall prevail.
ITEM 1: COMPETITION NAME
“48 hours of freedom” running from the Start Date to the End Date as set out below (the “Competition”).
ITEM 2: PROMOTER
Bauer Radio Limited (t/a, Hits Radio), registered office: Media House Peterborough Business Park, Lynch Wood, Peterborough, United Kingdom, PE2 6EA and registered under company number 01394141 (the “Promoter”)
This is a Hits Radio Network Competition, running across the following radio stations including:

ITEM 3: WEBSITE
The website will be the website for each local station (from the above list) (the “Website”)
ITEM 4: COMPETITION START DATE AND END DATE
This competition runs on All New Hits Radio Breakfast, with 4 chances to get into the shortlist to win between Monday 15th September 2025 and Thursday 18th September 2025 (1 chance per day).
All New Hits Radio Breakfast is scheduled to broadcast from 6am to 10am on each of those mornings. Each contest round will be clearly signposted and opened and closed by the presenter(s) on-air.
Any entries received before the start date and time, or after the end date and time, will not be entered but you may still be charged.
ITEM 5: ENTRANT RESTRICTIONS
The Competition is only open to people aged 18 and over who: (i) live in the United Kingdom, (ii) are not one of our employees (or living with, or related to, one of our employees) and (iii) are not one the employees of any company associated with the competition (or living with, or related to, one of the employees). The named winner of “The Prize” must be one of the guests and have valid ID with them when they collect “The Prize”.
Entrants are only able to win a single prize throughout the duration of this Competition. There is no limit on the value of a single prize that may be provided to the individual winner of a Competition. However, no person may win more than one prize valued at £500 or more via any of our Competitions in any six (6) month period. A winner may continue to receive SMS messages in relation to the Competition and invitations to enter the Competition. For the avoidance of doubt, a winner should not enter the Competition again if they have already won in the previous six (6) months as they are ineligible to win. If a previous winner is drawn at random in a subsequent competition, or subsequent round of the same competition, they will be disqualified, and another entrant will be drawn at random. If it emerges after a winner has been awarded a Prize that they are a previous winner, in breach of these terms and conditions, they will be excluded and the Prize shall not be paid to them. If the Prize has already been paid, this must be returned immediately upon request. For clarity, it is possible to be drawn more than once to play the Competition between the Start Date and End Date, and if the entrant drawn has not previously won the Prize, they are eligible to play again.
In addition to previous winners, family relations of, or those living at the same residential address as, previous winners of this contest are ineligible to enter.
ITEM 6: ROUTES OF ENTRY AND COSTS
You can enter the Competition by calling 0333 20 20 800 when instructed to by the on-air presenter.
If randomly selected the entrant will be required to answer a question correctly on-air in order to receive a boarding pass number. That boarding pass number secures them a place on the shortlist to win the Prize.
Entrants must enter during the Entry Period of the Competition. Any entries received outside of the Entry Period will not be entered.
ITEM 7: DRAW DETAILS & WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT
The opening and closing time for each competition will be announced on air.
As stipulated in Item 6, each morning (Monday 15th September 2025 to Thursday 18th September 2025) a randomly selected the entrant will be required to answer a question correctly on-air in order to receive a boarding pass number. That boarding pass number secures them a place on the shortlist to win the Prize.
After the final contest round on Thursday 18th September 2025, a total of four boarding passes will have been issued. One winning boarding pass will then be selected at random, and the holder of that boarding pass will be the overall winner of the prize.
By entering the Competition, you are automatically consenting to being called live on air at this time (where a call is not recorded off-air), and to having your name and location announced on-air.
The name and the hometown of the winner may also be posted on the Promoter’s website and / or social media platforms after they have been announced on-air.
ITEM 8: PRIZE DETAILS
The prize is guestlist tickets to Craig David’s Ts5 Pool Party at Ibiza Rocks, along with travel and accommodation, for the winner and a plus 1, including:
• A VIP balcony table for the TS5 closing party on the 24th of September
• Return flights from major UK airports to Ibiza
• Round-trip private airport transfers in Ibiza
• 2 nights’ 4-star hotel accommodation based on sharing a double occupancy room with breakfast (check in on 23 Sept, check out on 25 Sept 2025)
• £300 spending money (winner only)
• Travel insurance
- The TS5 Pool Party at Ibiza Rocks has been secured with Ibiza Rocks directly. Winners will receive complimentary food and drinks throughout the pool party. Doors open at 1pm, Craig David is at 6pm, close is at 9pm. A VIP Balcony Table has been reserved. Winner names will be on the door – a valid form of ID must be presented in order to claim the prize.
- The travel/accommodation package is being provided by a prize provider, Element London LTD. Here are their Terms & Conditions:
• The prize package is for two (2) people, all of whom must be free to travel across 23 to 25 September 2025; Winner and guest must both be over the age of 18;
• Economy flights from major Uk airports only (inclusive of all applicable airport taxes, fees, and duties); Flights may be indirect and not all routings will be available; Flight itinerary will be selected by prize provider at their sole discretion; Excludes checked luggage, preselected seats and any additional extras;
• Accommodation is based on two (2) adults sharing one (1) double occupancy room in Ibiza with check in on the 23 September and check out on the 25 September 2025; Accommodation will be selected by prize provider at their sole discretion;
• A valid credit or debit card for incidentals may be required to guarantee your room on check in and therefore at least one of the travellers must possess and travel with a valid credit or debit card;
• The prize excludes domestic ground transfers, meals and drinks, hotel incidentals, excursions, attractions, treatments, visas, personal expenses and anything not expressly stated in the prize package;
• All elements of the prize are subject to availability; if unavailable, experiences and items of a similar nature and equal monetary value may be offered at the prize provider’s discretion;
• All cash allowances listed will be sent via bank transfer to the winner’s nominated account, recipient of funds must be aged 18 years or older;
• Travel insurance is subject to restrictions and the terms and conditions of the insurance provider. Travel insurance provided is a basic single trip policy and it is the responsibility of the winner and/or their companions to meet any additional costs relating to obtaining insurance cover for any pre-existing medical conditions and for any additional costs as may be specified where the winner and/or their companions are aged 70 or over; Levels of coverage will vary and it is the winner and guest’s responsibility to ensure that the level of coverage offered is sufficient for their circumstances;
• Winner and guest must be free to travel on 23 September to 25 September with the provided itinerary, no other dates or timings will be offered;
• Once booked, the prize cannot be amended or cancelled;
• Prize is non-refundable and non-transferable; no cash alternative is available;
• All travellers will require a passport valid for at least 6 months on date of travel; any necessary visas or additional insurance are the responsibility of the winner and guests;
• If the winner elects not to, or is unable to, use part of the prize, the winner will forfeit that part of the prize package;
• Prize must be taken in accordance with government guidelines and COVID-19 rules and restrictions in place at the time of travel, the arrangement and additional costs for any COVID-19 testing, quarantine accommodation or anything else that may be required is sole responsibility of the winner and guest;
• The Prize Provider is Element London Ltd. Any personal data submitted by the winner to the Prize Provider will be treated in accordance with Prize Provider’s privacy policy, which is accessible at: https://element-london.com/element-london-privacy-policy-travel-english/
ITEM 9: DATA PROTECTION
By entering the competition, you are automatically consenting to receiving marketing communications from us via SMS text message. You can opt out of this at any time by texting: STOP to 63103. This will be charged at your standard network rate but you will need to do this each time you text us to enter the competition. Your personal data will (regardless of whether you opt-out) always be used to process your entry. ITEM 10: INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY & CONSENT
We will sometimes (at our discretion) telephone entrants and ask them to speak on-air. You have the right to refuse. If you consent, your voice will be recorded and you consent to this recording being used on our radio broadcasts. You agree that we will own this recording and that a copy of it will be stored for further exploitation, which may include promotion. You will not be put through to speak on-air if we think you are driving, intoxicated, likely to swear, or otherwise offend our listeners. Whilst on air for the purposes of this competition you must not use foul language, swear, say or do anything defamatory or illegal or say or do anything which would damage the reputation of Bauer, is offensive or inappropriate or which would cause us, or our listeners, harm. Failure to comply will result in disqualification, and if you have won the prize, this will be forfeited.
ITEM 11: OTHER CONDITIONS
We will only accept entries that comply with our terms and conditions and we may disqualify you if we know or suspect that you have breached them. Our decision on the selection of the winner is final and we won’t engage in any correspondence or discussion about this or about the operation of this competition. We are not responsible for any network or technical issues you experience, such as latency of your mobile phone network, which may delay or prevent your participation or cause you to lose the competition if on-air. We have the right to cancel, amend, terminate or suspend this competition if forced to do so due to circumstances outside our control. We are not responsible if you fail to get through when text to enter, or if you lose signal during a call. You are responsible for all costs of entry and where necessary, obtaining the bill payer’s permission. Please refer to your tariff with your network provider for information about charges you may incur for entry into our competitions via any SMS or phone call entry route.
