As part of Cash for Kids Mission Christmas we visited Francis House Children's Hospice to surprise kids under their care in the run up to Christmas.
Gemma, Matt & Mike broadcast live from Francis House and spent time chatting to children and parents before revealing the special experience that was in store for them all.
A room at the hospice in Didsbury was turned into a festive grotto and became the setting for a group of poorly children and their siblings to take a Virtual Reality trip to meet Father Christmas.
Thanks to Mid Communication we were able to provide the very best in latest VR technology to transport the children into a magical Christmas world and take a slight ride with the big man himself.
The vertical be came actual when the REAL Father Christmas stepped out to present the children with a present at the end.
Check out the smiles on their faces...
