Darren, a software developer, says he ‘can't believe it’ after winning a life-changing amount of money. He's won a HUGE £100,000 on Thursday 24th December 2020 after entering Hits Radio’s Christmas Cash Register competition.
“I can't believe it. When I answered the phone, I thought it was the hospital calling me about a recent operation” said Darren, speaking to the Hits Radio team “My wife and I run our own business, but my daughter has had a really tough year - not being able to see her friends. This is going to change our Christmas’
"I'm really not too sure what to do with the money...I'd love to buy another motorbike, but I'm not sure the wife would let me!"
