Land Rover and trailer stolen from Zoo near Huntingdon
It happened on Monday 21st April.
Police are appealing for witnesses and information after a burglary at a zoo.
Officers were called to Johnsons of Old Hurst, in Church Street, Old Hurst, near Huntingdon, at about 9.50pm on Monday (21 April).
A blue Land Rover Defender and trailer were stolen by a group of men.
They were followed by a man who confronted them in New Road, Humberdale Way and Ramsey Road in Warboys. However, the burglars rammed his vehicle and eventually made off in what are believed to be a Range Rover and Volkswagen Passat.
One of the vehicles thought to be involved was later found in Slacks Lane, Bury.
DC Emily South said: “This was a burglary which has also seen numerous altercations in the Warboys area as the man attempted to stop the suspects escaping.
“I would like to hear from anyone who hasn’t yet spoken to officers or has dashcam footage of anything suspicious from Monday evening in the Warboys, Bury and Old Hurst areas.”
