A14 closed in Cambridgeshire after three vehicle collision

The A14 has been closed eastbound in Cambridgeshire after a three car collision with multiple casualties.

The incident took place just before 7am between junction 38 and 39.

In a statement Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service say: "A crew from Burwell and two crews from Suffolk were called to a road traffic collision on the A14 Eastbound between junction 38 and 39 just before 7am this morning (May 24).

"Firefighters arrived to find a collision involving three vehicles. One casualty was out on arrival, and they helped to release 2 further casualties who were left in the care of the ambulance service."
