Two arrests after man stabbed in both legs in Bristol park
The victim has since been discharged from hospital
A man is recovering at home after he was stabbed in both of his legs in a Bristol park over the weekend.
Officers were called to Victoria Park in Bedminster just before 2pm on Saturday - and the victim was taken to hospital.
Two men have since been arrested - with one released on bail and the other remaining in custody.
In a statement Avon & Somerset Police said: "Two people have been arrested following an assault in a Bristol park over the weekend."
"Officers were called at around 1.50pm on Saturday 17 August) to Victoria Park, in Bedminster, after a man sustained stab wounds to his legs.
"Officers attended and cordons were put in place in areas of the park while enquiries were carried out.
"Two men have been arrested on suspicion of GBH, one of whom has been released on bail. The second man remains in custody.
"The victim has since been discharged from hospital.
"Officers from the Neighbourhood Policing Team are carrying out high-visibility patrols and encourage anyone with any concerns to speak with them.
