Three people in hospital after stabbing in Whitchurch
A man in his 40s has been arrested and is in custody
Three people have been rushed to hospital after a stabbing in Whitchurch in the early hours of this morning (November 21).
Police tell us emergency services were called to the house in Ewell Road at about 02:20.
A man in his 40s has been arrested and is in custody.
In a statement, the force said: “Emergency services were called to the property in Ewell Road at about 2.20am.
"Two adults and one person in their early teens were taken to hospital with stab wounds. They remain in hospital and are said to be in a stable condition at this time.
"A man in his 40s has been arrested and is in police custody.
"An investigation is ongoing, with house-to-house enquiries underway. At this time we believe this to be an isolated incident.”
