legendary Scottish band Texas will headline the West Country gig series Bristol Sounds in 2025.

They will be performing at the Bristol Harbourside Amphitheatre on Friday, 27 June, joining other headliners that have been announced so far – Olly Murs, Supergrass and Kaiser Chiefs.

The band has been attracting fans over the last five decades, selling over 40 million records worldwide.

Audiences can expect them to perform both all-time classics, such as ‘I Don’t Want A Lover’, as well as recent favourites like ‘Keep on Talking’.

Conal Dodds, promoter at Crosstown Concerts, said: “The very first CD I was ever sent by someone in the music industry was by Texas, in 1989”.

“I have loved the band ever since and I’m thrilled that we have them headlining our Friday night of Bristol Sounds.”

“I can’t wait to hear Sharleen’s incredible voice across the harbour side next year, this is going to be a very special show!”, he added.

The city’s iconic summer series of outdoor gigs will be running for five consecutive days from Wednesday 25 June to Sunday 29 June.

Supergrass will perform on the Wednesday, Kaiser Chiefs on the Thursday and Olly Murs on the Sunday.

Saturday's headliner is yet to be announced.

Fans can sign up for access to the pre-sale on 4 December on the Bristol Sounds website. General tickets will go on sale on 6 December at 9am.
