Swimmers brave the low temperatures to mark Winter Solstice
An event was held this morning.
Dozens of people have been taking a dip in Bristol's Harbour this morning to celebrate the winter solstice.
It's the first time swimming's been allowed to mark the occasion, with the water temperature just six degrees.
Elsewhere thousands of people at Stonehenge watched the sunrise at Winter Solstice.
It's marking the shortest day and the longest night of the year, with the northern hemisphere at it's furthest point away from the sun.
