Six charged with drug supply offences in Bristol

It comes as police found more than 22kg of cocaine and heroin at addresses across the city

Six people from Bristol have been charged with conspiracy to supply class A and B drugs.

They came under suspicion during Avon and Somerset Police’s search of various addresses across the city on Monday (18 November).

The forces seized more than 22 kilos of heroin and cocaine (class A drugs), as well as 14 kilos of amphetamine (class B drug).

Five of the accused – Joshua Batt (27), Leah Murphy (43), Justin Pearce (44), Mark Glover (47) and Mark Bourne (48) – were remanded into custody after appearing at Bristol Magistrates’ Court today (20 November).

The sixth person, Janet Chard (67), was released on bail.

All of them are due to appear at Bristol Crown Court on 8 January 2025.
