Man charged with Bradley Stoke murder

The 50-year-old has been charged after a man died in the area over the weekend

A man's been charged with murder after a man died at a property over the weekend in Bradley Stoke.

The 50-year-old was remanded in custody, and appeared today at Bristol Magistrates' Court (November 20).

Lee Llewellyn, of Froomshaw Road in Stapleton, was charged following the death of 32-year-old Martin Hefferman on Saturday (November 18).

Avon and Somerset Police say a specially-trained officer continues to provide the support to Mr Hefferman’s family.

Officers add a scene remains in place in Honeysuckle Close and people can expect to continue to see an increased police presence in the area as a result.

We're told the case will be heard at Bristol Crown Court, the defendant has been remanded in custody until the next hearing at Bristol Crown Court on Wednesday (22/11/23).
