More than 660 cannabis plants have been seized in Bristol.

Two men have been released on bail after specialist officers raided an industrial unit yesterday morning.

It has happened as part of Neighbourhood Policing Week, with officers together to search the property on South Liberty Lane amid their enquiries into drug crime.

In a statement, Avon and Somerset Police said: "Officers from the neighbourhood team were supported by specialist officers in searching the property on Thursday morning, 25 January.

"Two men, one in his twenties and one in his thirties, were arrested from the address on suspicion of producing cannabis. They were later released on bail pending further enquiries.

"The electricity supply had been bypassed and was made safe by staff from the electricity network due to a risk of fire from the set-up.

"If you or someone you know is affected by drug misuse you can find details of support services on the Bristol City Council website."
