Police have arrested two more people after the stabbings in the Easton area of Bristol yesterday. Nine people are already in custody on suspicion of attempted murder.

Although police inquiries are in their early stages but they have revealed that the individuals involved knew each other.

Two men were found with stab wounds early yesterday morning, one of them is in a serious condition in hospital.

Inquiries are being centred in and around Rawnsley Park, nine people remain in custody under suspicion of attempted murder.

Police have been temporarily granted enhanced stop and search powers for the Easton district.

Police are particularly keen to hear from witnesses who were in the Stapleton Road and Rawnsley park areas at the time of the attack.
