Wake The Tiger is an immersive art experience brought to you by the creators of Boomtown. More than 100 artists have worked to build a parallel universe called "Meridia". This fantasy world aims to teach visitors that their personality has an impact on the world.

"Meridia" is filled with junk that's flowing through from Planet Earth. Throughout, you see that our actions in this world are effecting Meridians, who are now facing the severe consequences of climate change.

The creators of Wake The Tiger hope visitors leave with a sense of danger and a desire to reconnect with their community and restore the natural world.

The experience consists of 27 different rooms filled with animatronics and atmospheric sounds. Along your journey through Meridia, you'll come across interactive characters that will bring the story to life, try and sell you a tiny house and send you on a hunt to find secrets of the crumbling world.

Manging Director Graham MacVoy says that this is only the start of Meridia and hopes that people will consider what they can do to change the current direction of climate change, "all the art is coming from theories and concepts and ideas which are all about making the world a better place,

"That starts with looking at yourself and if you can be the best you can be, then ultimately the world is going to be a better place."

Wake The Tiger opens on the 30th of July in a former warehouse on the St Philip's industrial estate.
