Avon and Somerset Police are once again issuing calls to the public - urging them to keep off frozen water across the region.
It's after the force received a number of calls yesterday (December 17) of children spotted by passers-by playing on a body of frozen water.
The police haven't revealed where in Avon and Somerset the incident was seen to have happened, but their messaging to the public is very clear as we come to the end of the cold snap here in the South West.
In a message on Twitter, the force remind us all to 'give sufficient safety advice to children' regarding the dangers of frozen bodies of water - and are urging anyone who sees people playing on the ice across South Gloucestershire, Bristol, Bath, as well as North and North East Somerset to call 999.
The sightings come less than a week after four boys fell into a frozen lake - and later died - in Solihull.
Almost £70,000 has been raised online for the families of those who died in the tragic incident on December 11.
