The first artists for a first-of-its kind festival at Bristol's Ashton Gate Stadium have been announced.

It'll be held in June, and feature Ne-Yo, Craig David Presents TS5 and DJ Spoony Presents Garage Classical - alongside seven other performers, which are yet to be revealed.

Ashton Gate Presents BS3 will feature 10 different artists, across two stages on June 22nd.

Jenny Hutchinson, Venue Director at Ashton Gate said: “We are delighted to announce our first three artists performing at Ashton Gate Presents BS3. Promoting our own show is a massive step for Ashton Gate and it is important to us that we present a line-up fitting of this brand new event, one unlike anything we have ever done at the stadium before.

“NE-YO is one of the biggest R&B artists of all time and will perform at ‘Ashton Gate Presents BS3’ following his sell-out US tour last year, while Craig David and DJ Spoony are two of the most influential names in the UK music industry over the last two decades. We are really excited to see what they bring to Bristol and with another seven artists still to be revealed, ‘Ashton Gate Presents BS3’ promises to be an unmissable event for all music fans!”

Three-time Grammy award-winning and multi-platinum hitmaker Ne-Yo will showcase his stellar collection of chart-topping singles at “BS3” this summer.

Craig David achieved worldwide attention when his single “Fill Me In” and debut album Born to Do It topped the UK Charts during the summer of 2000 when he was only 19 years old.

He has since racked up 20 UK Top 40 singles and seven Top 40 albums, selling more than 15 million records worldwide, as well as earning 14 BRIT Award and two Grammy nominations.

The event will also feature an exclusive performance of one of the original godfathers of UK Garage, DJ Spoony, and his sensational ‘Garage Classical’ as it is performed outside of London for the first time.

He's up with acclaimed composer/conductor Katie Chatburn and the esteemed Ignition Orchestra to create ‘Garage Classical, which has enjoyed a string of high-profile performances in some of the UK’s most iconic venues including a sold-out show at the Royal Albert Hall.

Pre-registration tickets go on sale on Thursday, January 11th before the General Sale on Friday, January 12th.
