Easton double murder investigation: Police likely to remain present 'for the rest of the week'
Locals are being reassured that there is 'no further risk or danger' to the wider community
Police could be present in Easton for the rest of the week after the discovery of two bodies in the area.
A murder investigation remains ongoing following the incident in Wood Street.
Four people were arrested initially but two have since been released with no further action to be taken.
Neighbourhood Chief Inspector for East Bristol, Deepak Kenth, says the investigation has been 'challenging' and 'fast-moving'.
"This is a complicated investigation with lots of moving parts to it, so the public will see the police visible not only at that location but other locations for the next few days.
"Obviously this is a tragic incident, and we are working with the families to gain more information and at the moment we need to explore all avenues and we will provide that information as soon as we can."

The bodies of two men were discovered at a house on Wood Street, Easton on Sunday (12 September) after police received information from a member of the public.
Their deaths are being treated as suspicious and a forensic post-mortem examination will be carried out soon.
The incident has been described as a 'terrible shock' to the local community, but Chief Inspector Kenth is reassuring the public that it is an isolated incident with 'no further risk or danger' to the wider community.
"It’s a really tragic incident and we’re not looking for anyone further at this stage.
"The police presence on that road will probably be for the rest of the week for the time being. It is one property but we just need to make sure the forensic officers have got the space to work safely."
