Three teenagers charged after boy stabbed in Cribbs Causeway
The teenage victim remains in hospital in a stable condition
Three teenagers have been charged following the stabbing of a teenage boy in Cribbs Causeway.
Officers were alerted to an incident taking place at the underpass between The Mall and The Venue in the town just after 5:40pm on Monday (May 26th).
When they arrived at the scene, they found that a boy had been assaulted and stabbed at the scene, and needed to be taken to hospital.
Following lines of enquiry, three 16-year-old boys, who cannot be named for legal reasons, were arrested a short time later.
Now, Avon and Somerset Police have confirmed they are now charging the boys with offences and will appear before Bristol Magistrates' Court on Wednesday (May 28th).
According to the force, one boy has been charged with attempted murder and possession of a bladed article in a public place.
A second was also charged with possession of a bladed article in a public place, while the third was charged with assault by causing actual bodily harm.
On top of this, all three boys have been charged with affray.
Police have remained at the area to carry out patrols in an effort to reassure the public, though officers have said there is no wider risk to the public.
