Best South West Universities revealed

The Times and The Sunday Times ranks the country's Universites

September means that school is back in session, and the results are in for the South West's best universities- according to The Times' Good University Guide, with three of our universities being rated in the top 20 in the country!

The University of Bath has bagged the top spot, being called the best university in the South West, and rated as eighth best in the UK.

The second best in the South West, is the University of Exeter, although it's in eleventh place country-wide.

And the University of Bristol gets the bronze medal for the region, being the 16th best uni nationally, while Falmouth university is rated fourth regionally.

The University of Plymouth was in fifth place in the region, coming in at 70 on the national leaderboard while The University of the West of England came in sixth.

Bath Spa University has won the title of University of the Year for Social Inclusion, as well as being ranked 7th in the South West. The title was awarded to Bath Spa in recognition of its commitment to empowering students from all backgrounds with the opportunity to study and thrive in higher education.

Also in University hotspot Plymouth, Plymouth Marjon came tenth in the South West, and 83rd nationally.
