17 year old becomes 6th person charged in connection with Bristol double murder

A 17-year-old boy has become the sixth person to be charged in connection with the deaths of 16 year old Max Dixon and Mason Rist, who was 15.

The pair were found with stab wounds on Saturday 27th January in the Knowle West area of Bristol, both died in hospital in the early hours of Sunday.

Avon and Somerset Police now tell us a 17-year-old has been charged with their murders.

The boy can't be named because of his age.

He's been remanded into custody ahead of an appearance before Magistrates in Bristol today (05/02).

It makes the 17 year old the fourth person to be charged with murder, with a 15-year-old, 16-year-old and 44-year-old all also accused.

Last week, detectives also charged two other men with assisting an offender.

Police tell us over the weekend, they also arrested a 14-year-old girl and 49-year-old woman on suspicion of assisting an offender.
