Woman assaulted in Poole supermarket car park

Two people, thought to be known to the victim, have been arrested

A woman's been assaulted in a supermarket car park in Poole.

Police say she suffered facial injuries during the attack that happened in Sainsbury's car park in Pitwines Close at around 2.30pm last Friday (31st May).

A 22 year old man and a 28 year old woman, both from Poole have now been arrested and released on bail while enquiries continue.

Police say all three people are known to each other.

PC Tyler Mcwalter, of Poole police, said:

“Our investigation into this incident remains ongoing and I am keen to hear from any witnesses who have not already spoken to police.

“I would urge anyone with information that might assist our enquiries to please come forward.”
